A chiropractor by profession and an entrepreneur and business owner at heart, Dana enjoyed a 20 year career building successful businesses in health and wellness. In 2015 she transitioned out of the health and wellness industry and joined Lougheed Wealth Management where she is now a key member of the team as business development specialist and associate wealth advisor. She has a special interest in helping empower women professionals, divorcees and widows so they have the clarity, confidence and certainty in their personal financial well-being.
Dana graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Physical and Health Education in 1994 and was captain of the Queen’s Women’s Varsity Volleyball team. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1998. With her passion for helping people, Dana spent the next 20 years ensuring her patients enjoyed active healthy lives. The transition to the financial industry allows her to continue to help people, ensuring her clients and women, in particular, plan for and build an exceptional future.
An active member of the community, Dana serves on the Board of Strathcona Tweedsmuir School where she is the Chair of their Strategy and Planning Committee. She is also a volunteer with the Calgary Stampede and has been a member of the First Nations Events Committee, Concessions and Exhibits, Innovation and Reception Committees. Dana is a Past Chair of Fund Development, Famous 5 Foundation.
In her time away from the office, Dana loves to travel, enjoy the outdoors and is a passionate tennis player. She gets the most joy from spending time with her husband Dave and two daughters, Taylor and Tatum.
